New concrete for your industrial floor coating
For your industrial floor coating, the new concrete should dry and cure for a minimum of 30 days to be resistant to a compression of at least 3625 pounds per inch and to have a tensile resistance of at least 218 psi. Sandblasting or grinding and complete rinsing are required to remove the surface laitance that appeared during the curing process.
Acid etching may be necessary (followed by a full rinse) to open the pores of the concrete and better integrate the primer.
Industrial Floor Coating with old concrete
The industrial surface of the old concrete must be cleaned. Sandblasting, grinding or water jetting is highly recommended for removing surface contaminants. All oils and greases must be removed before application of the product.
