Enhance your outdoor concrete surfaces by choosing to coat your patio and/or balcony. Exposed to the elements and sunlight, your outdoor balcony coatings require special attention. Choosing a durable and long-lasting coating is essential. You don’t have to worry about the environmental impact of the products used outside your home, as all our materials meet LEED certification standards.
Elastomeric membranes are ideal for outdoor coatings and balconies. Because they are flexible, they can withstand the elements and wear and tear. Another major advantage is their resistance to discoloration. Even if your patio or balcony is exposed to sunlight, Polyurea (Polyaspartic) will not yellow and will retain its original color. It is the ideal product for anyone looking for a durable coating and wanting to fully enjoy their balcony or patio.

Epoxy is also a popular coating solution for patios and balconies. It is more cost-effective than elastomeric coatings but less durable. It fades easily in sunlight and yellows over time. Epoxy is less resistant to the elements and is more likely to chip or peel. Ask the PolySurface professionals for advice to make sure epoxy is the right solution for you.
The exterior elastomeric membrane concrete coating comes with a 10-year adhesion warranty and a lifetime warranty against discoloration. As for epoxy coatings, for residential surfaces, whether indoors or outdoors, the adhesion warranty is 5 years, with a 1-year warranty against discoloration.
